Have you ever not clicked “confirm order” when shopping online, because of the ridiculous amount it is to ship to Canada? I do it all the time, and it’s absolutely heart wrenching. But because I absolutely love online shopping (it’s like Christmas morning when the package arrives), the need to save money is crucial. I am always hunting for a coupon code or ways to save money. So here are some ways that you can confirm your order without cringing at the price.
I don’t go through with any online purchase without goggling “online coupon code” for whatever site I’m ordering from. Doing this is absolutely magical and can be the determining factor to see if I go through with the order. Don’t give up if the first code doesn’t work, just keep trying. RetailMeNot is a great website to find coupon codes.
Most websites allow you to sign up for emails and save a certain percentage to take off your first order so do it. If you don’t want them constantly bombarding you with emails, just unsubscribe after you get the code. Some sites also allow you to change the preferences of receiving emails.
During holidays, most sites have major sales. If you are still signed up for the email notifications, they might send you coupon codes for limited time discounts. Sometimes shopping when things are majorly discounted also saves up for the expensive shipping costs, at least it does for me.
I love to online window shop. I’ll search sites for hours just putting things in the shopping cart. Some online retailers will send you a coupon code if you leave items in the cart without purchasing. I haven’t had this happen to me yet, but it’s worth giving it a try.
